SKB lead batteries are recombination lead batteries, even if they are called airtight. This construction technology allows the battery to perform approx. 200/300 cycles at 100 depth of discharge, while at 30 of its capacity it reaches 1000 cycles. For a correct functioning of the battery it is necessary to follow some prescriptions. CHARGE: the charge must be made with a constant voltage battery charger strictly following the data reported on the battery. Incorrect voltage can lead to the immediate deterioration of the battery itself. It must not be left unloaded after its use, but must be recharged immediately. DOWNLOAD: must not be carried, during the discharge phase, to a voltage inferior to 5.25Volt for a 6V battery, 10.50Volt for a 12Volt battery. CAUTION: The battery contains sulfuric acid. Care must be taken when handling it. In case of accidental contact with the acid, do not touch the eyes or the mouth. Wash immediately with running water. Go to the hospital emergency room.
