SKB lead batteries are recombination lead batteries, even if they are called hermetic. This construction technology allows the battery to perform approx. 200/300 cycles at 100 discharge depth, while at 30 of its capacity it reaches 1000 cycles.
For correct operation of the battery it is necessary to comply with some requirements.
CHARGING: charging must be done with a constant voltage battery charger, strictly following the data shown on the battery. An incorrect voltage can lead to the immediate deterioration of the battery itself. It must not be left discharged after its use, but must be recharged immediately.
DISCHARGE: it must not be brought, during the discharge phase, to a voltage lower than 3.50Volt for a 4V battery, 5.25Volt for a 6V battery, 10.50Volt for a 12Volt battery.
ATTENTION: The battery contains sulfuric acid. Care should be taken when handling it. In case of accidental contact with the acid, do not touch your eyes or mouth. Wash immediately with running water. Go to the hospital emergency room.
